Bio
Romanadvoratrelundar -- or 'Romana', as she is more commonly called -- is currently Lady President of the High Council of Time Lords on Gallifrey. She is in her second incarnation (which looks suspiciously similar to the appearance of Princess Astra of Atrios), and has only recently returned to her home planet after a sojourn through time & space with the renegade known as The Doctor.
The Lady President comes from the Prydonian house of Time Lords, and lives up to their reputation of producing clever and creative (if often unpredictable) alumni -- her reforms and changes of the previously ancient ways of organizing government have been astonishing and extremely controversial. Significant amongst these changes is Romana's active cultivation of alliances and embassies to alien races; this priority has been largely attributed to Romana's activism for ending the slavery of the Tharil race in E-Space, prior to her return to Gallifrey. She is often accompanied by a robot dog known as K-9 (Mark II), which addresses her by the title 'Mistress'.
